Kosciusko Utilities
Electric Service: Northern Indiana Public Service Company, Kosciusko REMC, and Duke Energy are the service providers for the county. Nipsco covers most incorporated communities, while REMC covers primarily rural areas, and Duke Energy provides service to the Sidney area. Each firm offers economic development rates for new or expanding large electric users.

Water and Sewer
Indiana-American Water provides water service to Warsaw and Winona Lake. The city of Warsaw provides service to itself and Winona Lake. Warsaw will provide sewage service to Leesburg when system is complete in 2009. Other communities which provide water and sewer Include: Syracuse, Milford, Pierceton, Mentone, Claypool, Etna Green, and Silver Lake. The towns of North Webster and Sidney have a sewer system but no public water.
The Town of Burket has no public water or sewage system.
Transportation
Kosciusko County has access to many types of transportation. The county lies in the center of Interstate 80/90 to the north, Interstate 69 to the east, U.S. 24 to the south, and U.S. 31 to the west. Each community is within a 15-minute drive of U.S. 30 and a 45-minute drive of an interstate.

Air: The WarsawMunicipalAirport offers two mile-long runways, courtesy cars, and safety features as found at larger airports. With the installation of an ILS system (Instrument Landing System) in 1994, all categories of aircraft can conduct instrument landings at the WarsawAirport with weather minimums of a 200-foot ceiling and ¾ mile visibility. The ILS provides better and safer access to Warsaw and is an economic development attraction for future businesses wishing to locate or expand in our community.
The largest orthopedic companies in the world are based in Warsaw, Indiana, and they all depend on Warsaw Municipal Airport for their operations. The facility also offers flight instruction, aircraft rental, and charter is available. We are making every effort to improve and maintain our gateway to the community, and to promote and educate the general public and local government about the importance of general aviation. We are growing and are proud of our facilities.
